Ownership2021-09-15

Fashion changes every day. It is difficult to keep pace with fashion. There is a craze in the youth to follow the fashion trends. Fashion reflects change and variety.

Fashion is something people either love or hate. Through the ages, different fashion styles have come and gone, and many of them return into our clothing stores after a few years. Some people just cannot be bothered to keep up with recent trends, while others can’t get enough of the latest styles. Whether you love it or hate it, you’ll enjoy these interesting fashion facts

Cotton is the most widely used clothing material, but it only became common in mid-1800s, when Eli Whitney’s cotton gin made it easy to separate the cotton fibers from the seeds.Evidence for the first clothes dates somewhere between 100,000 to 500,000 years ago. Simple needles made out of animal bone first appeared about 30,000 years ago. The bikini was named after the island Bikini Atoll, where the US military was testing its bombs in World War 2. It was so named because its creator, Louis RĂ©ard, belived the revealing suit would create a shock like that of the atomic bomb. Women’s nominal clothing sizes have increased in physical size over the years in a phenomenon known as “vanity sizing.” A size 8 dress with a 32-inch bust in 1967 is now considered a size 0 today. 10-25% of Western women don’t wear a bra, and 75-85% of women who do wear an incorrect size. Men’s shirts button on the right, and women’s on the left.

Human being has an urge for change. Change adds spice and flavor to life. It is an important cause of fashion craze. Nobody likes the conventional, outdated things. By following the latest trends in fashion the youth try to show that they are novel and charming. Fashions have been a major cause of the progress of civilization. In fact, fashions and prosperity have close relations. Fashions are contagious. When people meet with one another, their contact with one another brings into vogue fashions and styles. Young men and women attending offices, educational institutions, etc. imitate fashions easily.

Clothing has always been an important part of society, with evidence from the earliest human civilizations. In history, climate, religion and political factors played a role in the fabrication, styling and even color of the garments that people wore. Today, the fashion industry is multi-faceted, and while climate and religion are still some factors in how we dress, there are many more influences in what we choose to wear. Time and time again, designers reference historical styles and push them into modern trends.
